~ slow growth

(Mar 26/09) I love walking the neighbourhood and noticing that the bush that was budding a couple of days ago is beginnning to flower. Or turning down a street I haven't been on for a little while and finding something new to stop and appreciate. It's said that you should try to 'get out of your mind' and 'be present in the moment' to relieve stress (and live authentically). I remind myself of that as I walk, whenever I start to mull over a problem. I use my eyes, my ears, my sense of touch, to be receptive to what is around me. Focussing on the moment, I am free, for a little while, from my concerns.
