~ musical collaborations

(Jan 8/09) Well, I am still sick so I'm not very delighted about that. I have a list of musical projects to work on but was feeling quite uninspired. Then a wonderful thing happened. A good friend who I have collaborated with on 4 or 5 tracks so far... asked me to collaborate on a new age track. I said sure... let me know how you want to proceed... but I suggested that he create a bed track for me to sing over. Last night, he sent me the bed track -- and it's really really lovely. I listened to it at least 5 times and was just drawn in so much. It reminded me again how much music means to me, and how much I love beautiful melody. And it's so great to know talented professional songwriters and musicians who want to work with me. I need to remember that, and honour that.
