(Apr 13/09) They've been digging up the street outside my house (including blasting) for 3 weeks. Today, being Easter Monday and I guess a day off for them, I find myself profoundly aware of the silence. I am grateful for this oasis of peace, and hope that they finish their noise-making soon.
